For those who enjoy darker hues, this is a Blended malt whisky aged in Oloroso Sherry casks, according to online information.
A value-for-money offering. Reasonably priced for a mid-aged expression, this is a well-rated Sherry Bomb suitable as a daily dram for the undemanding.
Not too discerning.
P.S. Vega is the Weaver Girl star. NSS names some of its products after stars, e.g. Sirius, Spica.

Online Tasting Notes Reference

Nose-
Toasty cinnamon and black pepper, with a touch of earthy pine. Layers of dried fruit build after a few minutes in the glass.

Palate-
Tobacco, caramelised nuts, dates, toffee pennies and honeycomb.

Finish-
Softly sherried, with enough Christmas spice to give it some heat.
