Product Details
Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky is produced at the Miyagikyo Distillery. Unlike traditional single malts, it utilizes the traditional 'Coffey Still,' which more effectively retains the original sweetness of the malt and a refined oily texture, creating a legendary expression between grain whisky texture and single malt depth.

Read More About the Story
The creation of Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky stems from Masataka Taketsuru's commitment to traditional craft. In the 1960s, the 'Father of Japanese Whisky' imported two 'Coffey Stills' from Scotland. While less efficient than modern columns, they preserve more flavor components and aromatic esters. Though made from 100% malted barley, using a grain whisky still gives it a silk-like texture with notes of vanilla and tropical fruit, becoming a global classic since its 2014 launch.
