Product Details
First released in 1973, the Longrow range was created by Springbank Distillery to explore a heavily peated style. As the core entry-level expression of the series, Longrow Peated perfectly demonstrates the distillery's commitment to traditional craftsmanship. Unlike other Springbank ranges, Longrow is twice-distilled and dried with peat for 48 hours, resulting in a powerful peat influence (approx. 50-55ppm) without losing the oily richness and complexity characteristic of Campbeltown whiskies.

Read More About the Story
The uniqueness of Longrow Peated lies in its production methods rooted in history. Springbank Distillery, located in Campbeltown, is the only distillery in Scotland that carries out 100% of the production process (from floor malting to bottling) on a single site. The name Longrow is derived from an adjacent, now-defunct distillery of the same name.
This whisky contains no added caramel coloring and is non-chill filtered, bottled at 46% ABV to maximize the retention of natural oils. Its smoky profile is not a simple char but a deep, earthy layer of complexity. For seasoned whisky enthusiasts, Longrow Peated serves as a gateway to the golden age of Scottish craftsmanship, where its heavy body and custard-like sweetness perfectly embody the Campbeltown smoky style.
