Quarter cask refers to a smaller cask (around 45-50L), which has a larger surface area of liquid in contact with the wood compared to other casks. Palate- Full-bodied, rich, and mouth-coating. Delicious sweet gristy malt and rich peat, woodsmoke. The coal appears mid-palate.

Finish- Very long, sweet, and smoky, with the coal lingering longest.

Comment- A belter. Denser and deeper than the 10 yr-old. Very more-ish.
