Nose: The nose opens with Laphroaig’s unmistakable heavy Islay peat smoke, with prominent Oloroso sherry influence weaving dark, sweet notes of cherry syrup, grenadine, and campfire‑grilled peaches through classic coastal aromas of sea breeze, burnt oak, and medicinal iodine.
Palate: Delivers a thick, syrupy mouthfeel with a powerful punch of rich caramel, dark dried fruits, and red currants from the sherry finish, perfectly counterbalanced by intense medicinal ash, sea salt, black pepper, and charred oak.
Finish: Long, warming, and mouthwatering, as the sweet dark fruit syrup fades to leave dry old oak, lingering campfire smoke, and a savoury touch of coastal sea salt.
