Glenfarclas OB core range many whisky enthusiasts may have been fooled by its color when they first started drinking whisky,
but Family Cask is indeed a high-quality series from Glenfarclas, and the price reflects that.
This particular cask is a Family Cask that I believe is still reasonably priced.
Although the vintage is not high, it basically offers everything you'd expect from a Sherry bomb.
While 1st fill and Refill are commonly indicated in Sherry designations, the number of times Refill has occurred is usually not disclosed.
This bottle frankly tells you it's the 4th fill.
