Glenfarclas OB core range, many brothers and sisters must have been fooled by its color when they first started drinking whisky.
But Family Cask is indeed a high-quality series of Glenfarclas, and of course the price reflects this.
This cask is what I consider a reasonably priced Family Cask.
Although the vintage is not high, basically everything you expect from a Sherry bomb, it mostly delivers.

Online tasting note for reference

Nose:
Very nutty with various nutty notes. Fresh apples and honey.

Taste:
A lot of toffee, typical for Glenfarclas. The sourness of green apples and lemon mixed with the sweetness of marzipan and honey.

Finish:
Medium long and slightly sour with green fruits.
