Since Billy Walker took over GlenAllachie Distillery in 2017, it has undergone an amazing transformation. As a recognized master of Sherry casks, Billy Walker has redefined the spirit of this Speyside distillery. The 30 Year Old Batch 3 is a milestone work of this evolution.
The distilling team carefully monitored stocks from 1990 and 1991. During thirty years of maturation, the spirit extracted rich dried fruits, spices, and tannins from Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry casks, balanced with American Oak to provide soft vanilla and creamy textures. Bottled at a cask strength of 48.9%, non-chill filtered, and with no added caramel coloring, it preserves the true soul of old whisky.
