Nose: Bursting with classic Laphroaig peat smoke wrapped in chewy caramel toffee, a touch of salt, and mild yellow fruits. Opens with seaweed, sardines, brine, Arbroath smokies, and barbecue, alongside vanilla ice cream and sea salt spray.
Palate: Exceeds its years. The balance of peat and sweetness is remarkable. Bright yellow fruit, lemon juice, and white pepper over open flame. Dry wood smoke and iodine balanced by lime and sugar syrup. Distinct brininess on the mid-palate.
Finish: Extremely long. Not just a finish, but a celebration! Lingering smoke and sweetness with a hint of cardamom spice.
