The Dalmore distillery is located on the shores of the Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands. Its iconic 12-pointed Royal Stag emblem dates back to 1263, when the chief of the Mackenzie Clan saved King Alexander III of Scotland. In gratitude, the King granted the clan the right to use the stag head in their coat of arms. When the Mackenzie family took over the distillery, this emblem became the proud symbol of every bottle of Dalmore.
