Located on the shores of the Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands, The Dalmore distillery's legendary history dates back to 1263. In that year, the chief of the Clan Mackenzie saved King Alexander III from a charging stag. In gratitude, the King granted the clan the right to use the '12-pointed Royal Stag' emblem.
