A rare Single Malt Whisky from Compass Box. Compass Box typically releases Blended Malt Whiskies, so they've provided a brief explanation on the label as to why this Single Malt Whisky exists. The Whiskymakers believe that blending doesn't necessarily mean blending whiskies from different distilleries. Whiskies from the same distillery, using different vintages and cask types, can also achieve great complexity.
While the official bottling year for this Balblair Single Malt Whisky is not stated, Whiskybase mentions it was a blend of 1997 and 2003 casks. It was finally blended with Balblair's 1st fill Bourbon and recharred American barrel.

Nose-
Apple turnover with vanilla custard, floral malt and honey.

Palate-
Creamy milk chocolate, with malt cereal and oak spice, with lots of cinnamon-spiced ripe pear.

Finish-
Dry oak on a creamy vanilla finish, with stewed orchard fruit and even more honey.
