Blended Malt Whisky, dominated by the now-defunct Imperial distillery, with a small amount of "distillery near Aberlour" aged in 1st fill sherry.

The Magic Cask concept is a bit of a return to basics, unlike most other CB works that blend many different distilleries. Although it is a Blended Whisky, this one only uses core whisky (Imperial) blended with one more cask to complete the process. CB calls this cask the Magic Cask. This Speyside Magic cask was aged for one year in 1st fill Bourbon barrels, then transferred to a 1st fill Oloroso sherry butt for a three-year finish.

Nose-
Ripe plum, a touch of chocolatey malt and something subtle herbaceous wafts.

Fragrant vanilla, peaches and cream, soft oak, cinnamon.
