Online tasting note for reference:
Nose: Quince jelly and hints of lychee, with notes of botrytis and dried apricot, leather polish, thyme syrup, fresh mint, damp cigar leaves and vanilla.
Palate: Sweeter and more robust than expected, with plenty of herbal syrups, cough drops and mead, followed by plums, caramel, tobacco and spicy wood; becoming leafy and mineral with a mild bittersweet character, touches of walnut liqueur and sour chocolate, and increasingly dominant herbal notes.
Finish: Quite long, focused on bittersweet herbs with peppery warmth, clove and a distinctly earthy Pu-Erh tea note.
