Aromas are round and full, featuring deep dark chocolate, smoky ham with roasted notes, and salinity, accompanied by seaweed, wet peat, bonfire, and ash notes, along with a solid candied sweetness, smoked longan, walnut, and almond-like nutty fragrance. This extends to charred wood, dried fruits, a hint of raisins, nectarine, and black cherry.

The palate is surprisingly soft and smooth on entry, with high oiliness. Dominated by intense peat and nutty tones, perfectly showcasing the distinct characteristics imparted by the malt and cask. Smoked bacon and meat flavors are prominent, alongside hints of toasted wood and campfire smoke, mature and dried tropical fruits, followed by caramel, raisins, apricot, and dark chocolate. The finish is long, with lingering nutty notes.

Overall, beautiful and profound. This is a powerful yet oily and smooth 'Peated Sherry' masterpiece. Despite being fully matured in PX Sherry casks, it never becomes overly sweet. Although the maturation period is not very long, it surprisingly lacks excessive youthful harshness, showing stunning maturity. A must-try for lovers of heavily peated sherry from this New World distillery.
