Campbeltown Loch takes its name from the bay at the heart of Campbeltown, once the front line of the Scottish whisky trade. In the 19th century, the town boasted over 30 distilleries and was known as the 'Whisky Capital of the World'. Today, only three active distilleries remain: Springbank, Glengyle, and Glen Scotia.
This Blended Malt was created to honor this glorious history. Unlike standard 'Blended Whiskies', it contains no grain whisky. Instead, it is a pure blend of five distinct single malts from the region: Springbank, Longrow, Hazelburn, Kilkerran, and Glen Scotia. This practice is extremely rare in the industry, effectively concentrating the essence of an entire region into a single bottle.
