Nose: Elegant and leathery with whiffs of Oloroso, beautifully evolved peatiness mixing ripe mango and eucalyptus, dark honey, hints of hazelnuts and light tobacco, fragrant peaches, and medicinal aromas like camphor and bandages. Also described as citrus zest, poached peaches, vanilla, syrup, toffee, antique oak, roasted chestnuts, and soft leather.
Palate: Rich and intense with dominant sherry and nutty character. Layers of chocolate, raisins, red berries, and subtle hints of peat smoke. Also featuring tropical fruits like pineapple and apricots, citrusy lemon zest, honeycomb, cinnamon and ginger spice.
Finish: Long and sweet with oak spices and a touch of sea salt. Also described as featuring charcoal smoke, drying with marmalade notes, and a light saline quality with hints of sesame and graphite.
