Nose: A maze of fruit! Green, tropical, garden variety and even stone fruits. Fresh fruits, fruit syrups and various fruit compotes. Gooseberry tart, shortcrust pastry, fresh honey, aged calvados, gorse flowers, meadowsweet, rapeseed oil and a few toasted cereals. With water: Softer, more herbal, old Benedictine, tool boxes, a softer waxiness and notes of crushed gorse.
