Aside from the core range and the annual small batches of Cask Strength expressions, this time we bring you a Single Cask bottling.
Benromach underwent several closures and reconstructions, finally being acquired by G&M in 1993. Their goal was to revive what they consider the traditional Speyside flavour profile—emphasizing fruitiness alongside a light, smoky peat character.

This 2019 Single Cask #40 is a distillery-exclusive bottling, still utilizing the older design from that era, continuing to mature in the 1st fill casks they emphasize.

Tasting notes from Master of Malt for reference:

Nose: Cooked apple and caramel, cinnamon and oak char, with heaps of red fruit.

Palate: Black pepper, Medjool dates and toffee apple, with a delicate hint of smoke alongside fruitcake.

Finish: Waxy orange peel appears alongside ginger and dark chocolate biscuits.
