Benromach has undergone several closures and reconstructions, eventually being acquired by G&M in 1993. They aimed to recreate the traditional Speyside style they favored: emphasizing fruitiness while incorporating a gentle smoky peat influence.
This 2020 Single Cask #850 release features their new branding, continuing the use of 1st fill casks for maturation.
