The Balvenie distillery, located in Dufftown, Speyside, is one of the few remaining distilleries that still adheres to traditional handcrafted processes. The story of the 17 Year Old DoubleWood is closely linked to David C. Stewart MBE, the longest-serving Malt Master in the industry and a pioneer of 'Cask Finishing'.
