1995 was a historic year for Arran, marking the groundbreaking of the distillery in Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. Previously, the island had been without a legal distillery for over 150 years. This 25 Year Old Single Malt utilizes rare stocks from those pioneering days.
During maturation, the maritime climate of the Isle of Arran shapes the spirit, with mild sea breezes and clear mountain water forming its soul. This 25-year-old expression is non-chill filtered and bottled with natural color to preserve its original oily texture and depth. Released in 2020 to international acclaim, Master Blender James MacTaggart perfectly balanced the sweetness of Bourbon casks with the richness of Sherry casks, finished in specially selected Sherry Hogsheads.
