Aroma:
Earthy, dusty and slightly biscuit-like on the nose, very unusual, almost like from a parallel universe. Soot-tarry notes are clear but restrained, balanced by silky vanilla notes. With a little water, many floral notes develop, including smoked vetiver root, anise, fennel, chrysanthemum and jasmine.
Taste:
Peppery and warming, an eruption of fiery flavors preceded by spice, chili chocolate, bittersweet mocha, briar wood, birch tar, ground black pepper and smoked artichokes.
