Online tasting note for reference:

Nose: Briny, peaty, slightly medicinal aroma with mossy, maritime peatiness. Hints of licorice, malt, yeast, and engine oil. Distinctly balmy and medicinal with enticing minerality.

Palate: Soft and quaffable due to lower ABV and chill-filtering. Peaty and smoky flavors with sweetness dialed down compared to signature Ardbeg expressions. Less vanilla character and citrus than the Ardbeg 10. Complex palate revealing phenolics with a slightly drier character.

Finish: Soft embers, pine, tar, smoked bread, and bakery notes with something slightly metallic. Insanely long finish with great length and a superb, lasting footprint on the tastebuds.
