Crieff-based Scottish distillery The Glenturret has announced the launch of its 2026 Extremely Scarce Collection, introducing a 20 Year Old single malt to the lineup for the first time alongside its iconic 25 Year Old and 30 Year Old expressions. As Scotland's oldest working distillery, The Glenturret stated that this release celebrates time, craftsmanship, and cask curation, showcasing the distillery's unwavering dedication to quality and whisky-making artistry.

The centerpiece of the collection is the inaugural The Glenturret 20 Year Old, crafted from four European oak casks, bottled at 47.6% ABV, and limited to just 1,700 bottles. Returning with acclaim, The Glenturret 25 Year Old was matured exclusively in European sherry oak casks, bottled at 40.2% ABV, with a limited run of 210 bottles. The oldest and rarest expression in the range, The Glenturret 30 Year Old, was matured in European oak casks at 40.1% ABV, with only 75 bottles produced.

Each whisky reveals a distinctive flavor profile. The Glenturret 20 Year Old combines vibrant tropical fruit notes with wood spices, featuring prominent pineapple and mango layered with ginger and mature oak undertones, followed by sweet spices blending into tropical fruits on the palate with a refined fruity finish. The 25 Year Old delivers sponge ginger cake, rich raisins, aged oak, and gentle spices, evolving into dark fruit jam, vanilla, and clean oak, finishing with a velvety creaminess.
