The Glenlivet is proud to introduce the all-new The Glenlivet Cask Master’s Collection. This series features 14, 16, and 19-year-old single malt Scotch whiskies, designed to showcase the essence of Speyside’s signature smooth style while honoring the craftsmanship and vision of Cask Master Kevin Balmforth. This collection is released exclusively for Global Travel Retail (GTR).

Drawing on more than two centuries of distilling heritage passed down through generations, Kevin Balmforth has carefully selected the finest casks to create three well-rounded, balanced, and fruity expressions that perfectly capture the heart of Speyside single malt Scotch whisky.

A Closer Look at The Glenlivet Cask Master’s Collection

1. The Glenlivet 14 Year Old: Matured in a combination of American and European oak casks, it offers notes of toasted marshmallow, baked apple, and orange zest with a smooth, layered finish. The packaging features a blue gradient reflecting the crystalline waters of the River Livet.

2. The Glenlivet 16 Year Old: Fully matured in 100% American oak casks, this expression highlights sweet, creamy flavors of buttery toffee and ripe plums. The striking red gradient on the packaging is inspired by the Speyside sunset.

3. The Glenlivet 19 Year Old: The pinnacle of the collection and the first-ever expression from the brand to feature a Scottish Oak finish. After maturing in American and European oak, the liquid is finished in Scottish oak casks, imparting rich flavors of stewed apples and blackcurrant spice. Because Scottish oak grows slowly and is incredibly rare, its tight yet porous grain helps release intense spice notes.

Kevin Balmforth noted that this collection emphasizes the hallmarks of a great single malt: the maker's craft, the character of the stills, and, most importantly, the smoothness of the spirit. By honoring tradition while pushing flavor boundaries with selective cask finishing, the collection embodies the excellence of Speyside whisky.

Furthermore, the series introduces the brand's refreshed contemporary design. The new packaging features a modern monogram and a wave pattern that pays homage to the meaning of The Glenlivet ("valley of the smooth-flowing one") and the River Livet that inspires its character.
