Tailored Spirits Co. Unveils Experimental Whisky Series
Edinburgh-based Tailored Spirits Co. has recently released four new whiskies in its Experimental Series. These limited micro-batch releases focus on the unique maturation and cask finishing craftsmanship of Scottish distilleries.
The new releases include Experiment 4 (Aultmore 15 Year Old), Experiment 5 (Echo – Benriach 13 Year Old), Experiment 6 (Fort – Dailuaine 13 Year Old), and a special release Special Experiment 1 Black Label (Anam – Springbank 23 Year Old), with a 23-year-old Springbank single cask whisky being the most eye-catching.
Tailored Spirits Co., founded in 2024, specializes in sourcing, maturing, designing, and bottling single cask whiskies for private clients and corporations worldwide. The company was established by three experienced professionals Tom Costello, Carl Johnstone, and Adam Harding, with Adam Harding also serving as co-founder and director.
Harding stated that this new series marks an exciting step for the company in promoting the experimental spirit of single cask whiskies. He also mentioned that the company has experienced growth far exceeding expectations in the past year.
The bottle design for the Experimental Series is inspired by vintage ski resort lift tickets and comes with a detachable 'Lab Ticket' featuring a unique code. Collectors who gather six tickets will have a chance to win special limited editions, including the Black Label Springbank whisky released this time.
Harding emphasized that each whisky in the Experimental Series tells a unique story of maturation and flavor exploration, and the company is proud to continuously showcase the depth and diversity of single cask Scotch whisky.
Tailored Spirits Co. aims to bridge the gap between large producers and individual single cask whisky owners. Located in the Leith area of Edinburgh, its tagline 'From the warehouse to your house' embodies its service philosophy. Harding added that product design is as important as the whisky itself, intended to spark curiosity and convey the brand's core spirit of exploration and discovery.
