The Singleton推出以甜點為靈感的42年威士忌系列

The Singleton Launches Dessert-Inspired 42-Year-Old Whisky Series

The Singleton has introduced three 42-year-old single malt whiskies from Glen Ord Distillery, collectively named The Singleton Gourmand Collection. Inspired by the world of exquisite desserts, this series marks the brand’s longest secondary maturation period to date. The collection was crafted with input from renowned pastry chef Nicolas Rouzaud, with each whisky capturing the essence of a specific dessert, showcasing the perfect harmony between whisky and pastry art.

The series includes three whiskies- 'Notes of Fig & Chocolate Ganache' features flavors of melted chocolate, clove, and vanilla- 'Notes of Caramelised Crème Brûlée' offers the sweet aroma of baked vanilla custard- and 'Notes of Black Cherry Gâteau' blends ripe black cherries with hints of black pepper.

To complement the collection, The Singleton collaborated with Nicolas Rouzaud, head pastry chef at The Connaught in London, to create custom cakes for each whisky. Rouzaud shared that his creations were inspired by the slow craftsmanship of whisky, incorporating elements like airy sponge cakes, puff pastry, and cherry chocolate to enhance the tasting experience.

Tasting events will be held at Justerini & Brooks in London and Glen Ord Distillery in Scotland, the latter offering a three-tier cake experience paired with the brand’s 12-year, 18-year, and 21-year whiskies. Only 136 sets of The Singleton Gourmand Collection will be released globally, each containing three 50cl bottles.
