Redemption Releases First Single Barrel Bonded Bourbon

Combining Federal Bottled-in-Bond Regulations to Redefine Premium Bourbon Craftsmanship

American whiskey brand Redemption Whiskey has officially announced its new expression, Redemption Single Barrel Bonded Bourbon, marking the brand's first-ever standard single barrel bottled-in-bond whiskey release. This highly anticipated new release also signals the official relaunch and a brand-new milestone for the Higher Marques Collection. Scheduled for a nationwide release across the United States during National Bourbon Heritage Month in September 2026, this whiskey delivers a novel experience combining regulatory rigor with single-barrel uniqueness for whiskey enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Precise Mash Bill and Strict Aging Standards

Distilled in a single distilling season at the Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the whiskey was subsequently transported to Frankfort, Kentucky, where it was bottled by the Redemption Barrel Selections team. Adhering strictly to a non-chill filtered process, it is bottled at a standard strength of 100 proof (50% ABV). The mash bill consists of precisely 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley, creating a robust body characterized by smooth sweetness and rich spice.

This whiskey fully complies with the strict legal conditions set forth by the U.S. Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 and has been aged in new charred oak barrels for at least six full years, significantly exceeding the legal minimum requirement of four years. Each bottle originates from an individual single oak barrel, with the bottle clearly displaying its dedicated barrel number, distillation season, grain proportions, and age statement. Every oak barrel was hand-selected individually by Master Blender Alan Kennedy, designed to showcase unparalleled balance, profound structure, and the unique character of each single barrel.

Official Tasting Notes and Future High-Age Return Plans

Official tasting notes indicate that this whiskey offers elegant aromas of vanilla and leather, intertwined with distinct raspberry fruit notes and delicate oak nuances. The palate reveals a robust core of toasted oak and rich vanilla, which transitions into creamy crème brûlée, sweet corn, and warm baking spice layers. Additionally, the brand's top-tier Ancients Series 18-Year-Old Bourbon is also projected to make a limited return to the market in the fall of 2026, continuing to highlight the brand's extraordinary mastery in the realm of high-age bourbons.
