Paul John Single Malt Whisky Unveils Brand-New Packaging
Visual Identity Reimagined Around Indian Craft, Debuting Across Three Core Expressions
Sazerac-owned Indian distiller John Distilleries has unveiled a brand-new packaging design for Paul John Single Malt Whisky. Under the theme of "A journey into Indian craft," the redesign highlights the brand's artisanal craftsmanship and rich heritage.
Reimagined Elephant Emblem and Phased Rollout Plan
The liquid inside remains untouched, with the new look highlighting the brand's evolution from Goa to the global stage. The iconic elephant emblem has been reimagined as the central visual motif uniting the portfolio. Each expression now features bespoke illustrations, distinct textures, and tailored details reflecting its unique flavor profile and terroir.
The redesign is rolling out in phases, premiering with the core range including Nirvana, Brilliance, and Bold, followed by Select Casks and the wider portfolio in the coming months.
Global Market Expansion and Premiumization Strategy
Paul P John, chairman of John Distilleries, noted that Paul John whisky has long embodied India's craft and diversity. This new visual identity captures the brand's roots and artistry, driving its ambition to present a contemporary Indian single malt to the world—pairing a complete brand story with the unchanged, award-winning liquid.
