This Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky is offered in two batches at 59.4% and 56.6% ABV. This new creation is inspired by the distillery's hardworking operations team, honoring their consistent stewardship throughout the long journey of the whiskey from initial fermentation to final bottling.

Innovative Craftsmanship and a Journey of Flavor Discovery

This series is renowned for its unique Wood Stave finishing technique, an innovative process that significantly enhances the flavor breadth and depth of the brand's classic bourbon. The Stewards Release marks a significant midpoint in a five-year flavor discovery journey, serving as the third masterpiece in the second Wood Finishing Series, which is expected to conclude in 2028.

The program aims to explore "the people behind the proof," turning the spotlight on the behind-the-scenes heroes driving the brand forward. Previous releases include 2024’s The Heart Release, inspired by the Loretto distillery’s distillation team, and 2025’s The Keepers Release, which paid tribute to the warehouse team. The latter emphasized how the expert team ensures every barrel aligns with the founder's palate profile, showcasing an ultimate pursuit of quality.

A Multi-layered Symphony of Flavors

In terms of flavor profile, this new release presents a highly layered experience, beginning with aromas of cherry pie and vanilla bean, followed by evolving layers of honey, toasted marshmallow, and candied ginger sweetness, before finishing elegantly with stone fruit and sea salt caramel on the palate.
