Finnish distillery Kyrö Distillery Company, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, has released two rye whiskies inspired by House Targaryen to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Game of Thrones. This release embodies the power and legend of the iconic family from the series.

Whisky of Fire: A Fiery Blend of 100% Smoked Rye and Rum Casks

The first expression, Whisky of Fire, is crafted from 100% smoked rye, matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in Rum casks, with an ABV of 46.6%. The flavor features light smoke and spiced apple jam, with a palate of complex smoke and minerals, accompanied by sweet grains, blackberries, and mint.

Whisky of Blood: Spicy Balance Under French Oak

The second expression, Whisky of Blood, uses 100% malted rye matured in ex-bourbon and French oak casks at 46.0% ABV. It offers aromas of cereal, apple, and apricot, intertwined with layers of Tonka bean. The palate balances fruitiness with rye spice, finishing with notes of chestnut and crème brûlée.

Founded in Finland in 2012, Kyrö Distillery Company has been recognized as one of the world's most admired whisky brands through its Grain-to-Glass philosophy.
