The mash bill consists of 80% corn, 8% rye, and 12% malted barley, matured in handcrafted American white oak barrels. Master Distiller Chris Fletcher describes the profile as featuring notes of maple syrup and toasted oak, with a palate of caramel, chocolate, and baking spices, finishing with persistent barrel notes and brown sugar. The alcohol content is set at 58.7% ABV, a tribute to the #58 racing number of founder Bruce McLaren's first car.
