Hennessy馬年限定酒款 邀藝術家Trajan Jia合作

Hennessy Year of the Horse Cognac | Limited Edition ft. Trajan Jia

To celebrate the upcoming 2026 Year of the Horse, Hennessy has unveiled the first limited-edition release in its new "Zodiac Collection," partnering with London-based artist Trajan Jia. This collection aims to sequentially honor all twelve Chinese zodiac animals, aligning with a favorable global cognac market outlook, which is projected to reach $24.1 billion by 2035. The inaugural Year of the Horse edition is set to debut in 2026. Its design captures the spirit of vitality and ambition symbolized by the horse, while showcasing Hennessy's 260 years of craftsmanship and heritage. The brand's cognacs are currently exported to over 160 countries globally.

This premier limited collectible, blended using eaux-de-vie harvested during the 'Year of the Horse,' is bottled in exquisite Baccarat crystal decanters. Each decanter is hand-engraved and adorned with golden thread lace, presented in a deep crimson lacquered wooden box. Only 50 pieces are produced globally, making them highly collectible. The design inspiration draws from the Chinese idiom baiju guoxi (meaning 'a white steed passing a crack,' symbolizing the swift passage of time). The packaging also subtly incorporates traditional Chinese knot art, including the 'saddle knot,' symbolizing Chinese success, and the 'horseshoe knot,' representing European good fortune.

Artist Trajan Jia is a London-based Chinese artist known for his unique style, combining traditional painting techniques with Eastern and Western literary elements. Hennessy's launch of the "Zodiac Collection" follows a market trend where luxury spirits brands eagerly celebrate the Chinese zodiac through limited-edition series. For instance, Rémy Martin previously collaborated with Chinese artists for special packaging for its VSOP and XO cognacs, and Suntory Royal also released limited-edition whiskies for the Chinese New Year.
