This new release continues Glen Moray's exploration of oak craftsmanship. Following Phoenix Rising, which paid tribute to charred casks, and Twisted Vine, which celebrated Cognac cask maturation, Forbidden Fruit rekindles that experimental passion. The spirit was first aged in Bourbon barrels before being transferred to historic French Calvados casks for secondary maturation, perfectly blending apple freshness with warm spice while retaining the brand's signature smooth Speyside style.

The liquid reveals notes of green apple, toffee, and floral aromas. The packaging design is visually striking, with a crimson apple standing out against a classic deep blue background, accented by delicate gold leaves and a winding serpent, vividly depicting the legend of forbidden temptation. Global Brand Ambassador Iain Allan stated that this expression, with its sweet and spicy profile, bears witness to the distillery's century-long tradition of cask exploration, appealing to both seasoned connoisseurs and newcomers. The new release officially debuted in the UK this April.
