Kentucky distillery Four Roses has announced the launch of its 2026 Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon on October 10. As the 19th release in this annual series, this bourbon continues the brand's autumn tradition of selecting matured stocks, bottled at barrel strength and limited to approximately 16,800 bottles worldwide.

This bourbon is non-chill filtered and bottled at 109.2 proof. The blending team hand-selected four aged batches from the distillery's renowned 10 bourbon recipes, ranging in age from 14 to 23 years and representing three distinct recipes. The blend comprises a 14-year-old OBSK, a 14-year-old OESK, a 15-year-old OESV, and an OESK aged up to 23 years.

According to official tasting notes, the whiskey offers aromas of apricot accompanied by delicate, elegant oak. The palate unfolds with rich layers of baking spices, honey, and subtle wood notes, concluding with a lingering finish of fruit, vanilla, and caramel.

Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott noted that this has been an exciting year for the distillery as the team explored uncharted territory and delivered unprecedented expressions. Founded in 1888, the Four Roses distillery combines two distinct mashbills with five proprietary yeast strains to craft 10 unique bourbon recipes. Distillation takes place in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, while aging occurs in warehouses located at Cox’s Creek. The Limited Edition Small Batch represents the brand's cherished autumn release, consistently curated from well-aged barrel reserves.
