Islay's oldest licensed distillery, Bowmore, has officially announced the launch of its global roadshow titled "Bowmore: A Journey Through Flavour Stories." This experience aims to bring the distillery's expert team and untold brand stories to whisky enthusiasts worldwide. Starting in London, the tour will cross Europe, Asia, and North America, creating immersive sensory spaces that transport guests to the heart of this legendary distillery and its island home.

A Dialogue of Craft Across Centuries

During the event, participants will dive deep into the history of Single Malt and island life, engaging directly with Distillery Manager David Turner and Global Ambassador Teddy Joseph. Guests will hear tales of generational craftsmanship and island myths while tasting and comparing Bowmore's core range with the Sherry Oak Cask Collection. David Turner emphasized that the tour is designed to showcase the multi-layered excellence and heritage rooted in the island community since the distillery's founding in 1779.

Global Stops and Prestigious Accolades

The extensive itinerary includes European stops in Stockholm, Vienna, Zurich, and Belgium; Asian destinations like Taipei, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen; and North American cities such as New York and Vancouver. Furthermore, Bowmore’s famous No. 1 Vaults, one of Scotland’s oldest maturation warehouses located on the shores of Loch Indaal, continues to gain acclaim. Notably, its 21-year-old Sherry Oak Collection was recently named World’s Best Single Malt at the 2026 World Whiskies Awards.
