Online tasting note for reference

Nose-
Sweet and complex. The nose opens with the sweetness of milk chocolate and the richness of dried fruits. Notes of hazelnuts persist and become more indulgent, evoking caramelized hazelnuts. A smell of burnt wood and a little delicate smoke envelops everything to offer a nice complexity.

Palate-
Rich and fresh. Characteristic of the Akkeshi style, citrus fruits dominate. The attack is slightly acidic on lemon. The mastery of this acidity is of rare finesse. Very fresh, it is perfectly balanced with the notes of cane sugar. We will distinguish fine notes of peat which are maintained with elegance.

Finish-
The finish is marked by saline notes that we owe to the proximity of the distillery to the Pacific Ocean. There are also notes of bitter cocoa that combine perfectly with the sweetness of citrus fruits.
