Springbank Countdown Collection 2025 Limited Edition Whisky
Springbank Distillery has announced the launch of the Countdown Collection 2025 Limited Edition Whisky, celebrating its enduring legacy and commitment to traditional whisky-making methods. This series comprises five editions, with one released annually until 2028, the distillery's 200th anniversary. Each edition is limited to 500 bottles and will be made available to Springbank enthusiasts worldwide through a lottery system.
The collection pays tribute to the distillery's 200 years of independent operation and honors the contributions of generations of craftsmen. To mark this milestone, the distillery plans to host a series of special events, experiences, and rewards during the 2028 anniversary celebrations.
The third edition of the Countdown Collection features aromas of red apple, peach, and raspberry, complemented by subtle warehouse notes and caramel. The palate is rich, with hints of oak, lemon peel, kiwi, clotted cream, and leather. The finish is sweet, with lingering notes of fudge and tea leaves.
An online tasting event will be held on March 24 at 7 PM GMT, streamed live on Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, to discuss the release and lottery details.
