Guests arrived via gondola at the bar situated 11,212 feet above sea level. Beyond sunset views and music, they enjoyed an interactive Whisky Sour service. The spotlight was on the "Summit Sour," a signature cocktail designed for high altitudes. It features Maker’s Mark whisky fat-washed with cocoa butter, blended with local strawberries, malted wheat, and honey syrup, served via nitrogen taps to ensure a smooth, full-bodied texture in the thin mountain air.
Rob Samuels, 8th-generation whisky maker and Managing Director, noted that his grandmother Margie pioneered Bourbon tourism; bringing this spirit of hospitality to 11,000 feet is a modern continuation of that legacy. Regan Clarke, VP at Suntory Global Spirits, stated that this project embeds the brand into culture, creating unforgettable whisky moments in an immersive and unexpected way against Aspen's stunning backdrop.

Through this activation, Maker’s Mark proved its commitment to excellence knows no altitude limits, successfully showcasing the fusion of whisky with lifestyle and modern culture.
