Kavalan Whisky Launches 2025 South Korea Bar Promotion Plan
Taiwanese single malt whisky brand Kavalan has announced the launch of its second Team Kavalan promotion in South Korea for 2025, expanding its collaboration with local bartenders. The event, titled One Whisky, Two Perspectives, will invite eight Korean bartenders to create distinct cocktails at various venues, highlighting the diversity of Kavalan whisky.
This initiative follows the success of last year’s inaugural program, which featured Kavalan whiskies such as Distillery Select No.1, Triple Sherry Cask, and Kavalan Classic. Golden Blue, Kavalan’s exclusive partner in South Korea, will oversee nationwide coordination.
In May 2025, the campaign will kick off with renowned bars Bar Cham and Bar Sookhee, each crafting signature cocktails using Kavalan’s Distillery Select No.1 and offering unique interpretations over three months. Additional participating bars will be announced throughout 2025.
Partner bars will also provide curated Kavalan single malt whisky tastings, allowing customers to experience the brand in multiple ways across different settings.

The expanded promotion reflects Kavalan’s rapid growth in South Korea, now one of its fastest-growing global markets. The partnership with Golden Blue has driven significant sales growth, with triple-digit increases in 2023 and double-digit growth continuing in 2024.
King Car Group Chairman Mr. Y.T. Lee noted, Golden Blue has been pivotal to Kavalan’s success in South Korea, achieving triple-digit sales growth in 2023 and maintaining strong double-digit growth in 2024.
Currently, seven Kavalan whiskies are available in South Korea, including Distillery Select No.1, Classic, and Triple Sherry Cask, with additional varieties sold through duty-free channels.
