Ballantine’s, the world’s second most popular Scotch whisky brand, has announced the launch of a new spirit, Ballantine’s Sweet Blend (30% ABV), in response to market demand for sweeter and more approachable spirits. This new offering combines the essence of Scotch whisky with sweet elements like caramel and vanilla, targeting both non-whisky drinkers and whisky enthusiasts seeking a novel experience.

Led by Ballantine’s Master Blender Sandy Hyslop, the team crafted this new spirit, which features aromas of hazelnut and butterscotch, with layers of toffee apple, milk chocolate, crème brûlée, and vanilla fudge on the palate.
