French indie bottler Swell de Spirits picked Domaine de Baraillon for the German Armagnac Festival (On Tour series). Finished in a Long Pond Jamaican rum cask that had briefly held Calvados, so it cannot be labelled Armagnac and is sold as eau-de-vie de raisin — a rare Gascony × Jamaica crossover.

Nose: Bicycle tyre patch glue, acetone, rubber boots, stone fruit pits, toasted bread, raisin rolls, amaretti, and flambéed bananas.
Palate: Sharp, very peppery and lemony, with green apple and a touch of varnish.
Finish: Long, sharpish, and herbaceous.
