Online tasting note for reference:
Nose: Sea spray and bonfire smoke with raisins and orange peel, joined by dark chocolate, roasted almonds and polished oak. Additional notes of peat smoke, lemon peel, green apple, saline sea breeze, toasted nuts, soft caramel, ash and a touch of clove.
Palate: Rich and smoky with sweet malt, dried figs, salted caramel, citrus oils, dark berries, warming spice and elegant Islay peat. Further layers of candied orange, dark dried fruit, walnuts, dark chocolate, toffee, black pepper, salinity and a gently medicinal note.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering maritime salinity, gentle smoke, sherry sweetness, cocoa and oak spice, alongside smoke, orange peel and toasted nuts, with pepper and a persistent saline touch.
