Online tasting note for reference:
Nose: Sweet and malty notes surrounded by peat smoke with floral accents. Caramel, green apples. Typical Caol Ila, typical Bourbon Cask, peach, mango, “light” vanilla, peanut, smoke, some wet hay.
Palate: Intensiv mit den rauchig-maritimen Anklängen Caol Ilas, dazu würzig-blumige Facetten die sich mit Ananasaromen dazu gesellen. No surprise, smoky, ashy.
Finish: Lang mit vollmundigem Torfrauch, feiner Pfefferwürze und einer wärmenden, angenehmen Süße. Smoky, sweet.
