Online tasting note for reference:

Nose : 
Rich, heady. The malty, waxy and candied (pear, pineapple) first nose is also spicy (star anise, clove, nutmeg). Allowed to breathe, it develops extremely intense fragrances of puffed rice, gentian and dark chocolate. Notes of toast and tobacco add the finishing touches.

Palate : 
Lively, full-bodied. The very direct attack is fruity (Mirabelle plum, apple, pear) and honeyed (acacia, lime blossom). The rich mid-palate is driven by a sequence of vanilla, noble spices (saffron) and rooty notes (ginger). It then returns to malty territory.

Overall : 
Long, silky. At the start of the finish, velvety peach-skin tannins envelop the taste buds, with notes of vanilla and olive oil drawing out the tasting. The sunny end of the palate is rich (Corinthian raisin, spice bread).
