Nose: Smoky, sweet and savoury, with freshly cut wood shavings, earthy peat smoke, polished leather, stone fruits, and a briny sea note, alongside notes of coffee, dark chocolate, maraschino cherries, plums, and maritime salt and iodine.
Palate: Campfire smoke, vanilla and black liquorice, with brittle dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, grated star anise, and the smoky, salty sweetness of coffee, cherries, and dark French oak wood tones.
Finish: Smoke and sea salt notes with a long saline, savoury smoked ham finish, lingering woodsmoke, dried fruits, and warming spice.
