Online tasting note for reference:
Nose: Dense and thick with big malty, earthy and spicy notes; Danish pastry, dough, barley sugar and tinned peach, followed by dunnage warehouse, ground coffee, almonds and Mediterranean herbs; burlap, cereal, bread, pastry, fruit in syrup, marzipan and thyme.
Palate: Rock solid and unctuous at 40%, combining malty, fruity, nutty and floral elements; pastry and sweet barley, syrupy fruit, almonds and gentle herbs, with pepper and ginger from the wood and an increasingly well‑behaved dryness towards the edges.
Finish: Rather lengthy, with a harmonious mix of malt, sweet fruit, nuts, a hint of chocolate and herbal notes, drying slightly yet remaining smooth and balanced.
