Nose:
Moist fruit cake with subtle sherry aromas, a waft of new leather and toasted nuts and a whiff of smoke balanced by a fresh salty tang.
Palate:
Medium rich and well balanced with dark chocolate and dry sherry flavours, a developing roasted nutty maltiness with hints of liquorite and eucalyptus.
Finish:
Dry sherry oakiness with a seaside saltiness, gently drying. This is still Bunnahabhain, just a different and memorable expression.
