Nose: Dense peat smoke meets salty sea air, joined by dark fruit, a hint of leather, subtle sherry sweetness, cedar, tobacco, wood spice, stewed fruits and smoked fish.
Palate: Powerful and coastal, combining smoke, salinity and firm oak with notes of raisins, cocoa, a touch of toffee and a dark sherry sweetness, while Laphroaig’s trademark coastal smoke remains clearly present.
Finish: Long, dry and smoke-led, with salty accents, spicy wood, traces of dark chocolate and a long, balanced, smouldering, maritime finish.
